About App Brook Field
Registered Business
App Brook Field Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name under which we operate. We were established in 2019 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, to address a gap we observed among local bitcoin holders: sophisticated custody setups with inadequate documentation for the decades ahead.
Our Origin
The firm began when our founding reviewer, after helping two families recover access to inherited hardware wallets, recognised that most loss events stem from archive decay rather than theft or exchange failure. Holders were diligent about acquiring hardware and engraving steel plates, but rarely tested whether their written instructions would survive a generational transition.
We opened our Yeongdeungpo office to provide a calm, paper-oriented environment where clients can spread out physical materials and work through recovery scenarios without the pressure of a trading desk or exchange support queue.
What We Do
App Brook Field conducts independent reviews of offline bitcoin wallet archives. We examine seed phrase custody, hardware redundancy, passphrase handling, and recovery documentation. Our work is observational and advisory — we do not custody funds, execute transactions, or manage keys on behalf of clients.
Our Team
Jun-ho Park — Lead Archive Reviewer. Former bank operations manager with twelve years of document control experience. Completed Casa and Glacier Protocol workshops. Conducts the majority of Wallet Archive Reviews.
Elena Vasquez — Documentation Specialist. Technical writer who previously produced operational manuals for maritime logistics firms. Leads Recovery Documentation Reviews and report production.
Soo-jin Kim — Client Relations. Manages scheduling, intake questionnaires, and post-review follow-up. First point of contact for new inquiries.
Working Approach
We accept a limited number of engagements each quarter to maintain review quality. Every session follows a written protocol: no photography of seed material, no digital transmission of secrets, and all findings delivered in bound printed reports rather than email attachments containing sensitive details.
We maintain professional indemnity coverage appropriate to advisory work in the Republic of Korea.
Relationship to Clients
Our clients are private individuals — business owners, physicians, engineers, and retirees — who hold bitcoin as a long-term store of value. Many are bilingual and maintain archives across jurisdictions. We treat every engagement as confidential and do not publish client identities without explicit written consent.
Companion Reference
For clients who wish to maintain a private inventory of their archive components, we publish the Offline Wallet Tracker reference app on the Microsoft Store. It is an optional note-keeping aid and does not replace a professional review.
